<p>A negative attitude can hold you back from truly living your life. However, you don&#8217;t need to feel stuck because you can bring positive thoughts back into your life!</p>
<p><strong>How Negativity Can Hold You Back</strong></p>
<p>Negativity can hold you back in a number of ways. Have you heard the saying: &#8220;If you think you can&#8217;t, you&#8217;re right&#8221;? It&#8217;s true! Negative thoughts like this really do sabotage your efforts.</p>
<p>The good news is that you can gain control over how you think. When you&#8217;re expressing complaints and negativity all the time, it not only affects you, but it also affects the people around you. Negativity, itself, can be the reason why you create roadblocks that don&#8217;t really exist! So it&#8217;s time to choose the positive (and, yes, it is a choice!).<span id="more-289"></span></p>
<p><strong>Manifesting A Positive Attitude</strong></p>
<p>When you adopt a positive attitude, you open yourself up to the wonderful world of possibilities. When positive energy is in the air, you&#8217;ll be able to transform your negative feelings and maybe even bring others out of their negativity clouds. </p>
<p>Believe it or not, positive thinking is very powerful. It&#8217;s the driving force that steers your life into the direction of your dreams. Remember, your thoughts affect how you feel, and how you feel affects what you do, so if you can change your thoughts, you can change your outcome. </p>
<p><strong>How To Develop A Positive Attitude </strong></p>
<p>How can you change your attitude? It&#8217;s easier than you think.</p>
<p>Follow these tips to develop a positive attitude:</p>
<p>1.	<strong>Visualize.</strong> When the negative thoughts come crawling into your mind, transform them with positive images. Visualize something that you find pleasing, peaceful, or exciting. Remember what your ultimate goals are and imagine what it feels like to achieve them. </p>
<p>2.	<strong>Write it down.</strong> Keeping a journal has many positive effects. It helps you vent your frustrations, organize your life, and reflect on your innermost thoughts and feelings. Instead of focusing on the bad, use your journal to chronicle the things that have gone well in your life lately. </p>
<p>3.	<strong>Relax.</strong> Negative feelings are bound to arise when you&#8217;re in a stressful state. It&#8217;s important to take time out of each day for yourself. This means that you need to adopt a <a href="http://www.relaxing-tranquility-moments.com">relaxation</a> method that works for you. Perhaps you can take a bath, go to church, attend a yoga class, or meditate. When you&#8217;re relaxed, a peaceful and positive mindset will likely overtake you. </p>
<p>4.	<strong>Read and write affirmations</strong>. Grab a book with positive affirmations in it, or better yet, write your own. Affirmations are a powerful way to bring positive thoughts into your present state of well being. Affirmations are short statements in the present tense that remind you of positive attributes and goals in your life. Here&#8217;s an example: &#8220;I am strong and competent.&#8221;</p>
<p>5.	<strong>Live for the moment.</strong> Live your life for the moment and let go of everything else going on in your life. Negative feelings can easily overwhelm you if you&#8217;re consumed by past failures or the fear of the future. When you concentrate on the present, your life becomes more peaceful and positive.</p>
<p>In the end, go easy on yourself. You don&#8217;t need to be your own worst critic, instead, try being your biggest advocate! Just concentrate on your well being and you will develop a more positive attitude.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>&#8220;Lousy&#8221; is one word most people would use to describe life. People who experience failure often tend to take another look at their lives and see it in a different manner. People tend to magnify their mistakes and believe that these failures have more impact in their lives than what they have experienced. This attitude is a very human characteristic. </p>
<p>One proof of this can be seen in the way we take a look at a dot in a piece of paper. What does this mean? Well, let&#8217;s say that you have a piece of perfectly white paper in your hand. It is immaculately white, but when you drip a spot of ink on it, you tend to see it for the spot. You tend to forget about the rest of the paper which remains white and focus on the spot. In your mind, the spot becomes the paper. </p>
<p><span id="more-106"></span></p>
<p>In the same manner, people tend to see their lives for their failures. They forget about all of the success they experience and just see themselves as useless failures. This thinking tends to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. People who think they are failures end up being failures. The lack in confidence eventually grows larger and larger, fed by each failure and causing the next downfall. People become trapped in the never-ending cycle of failure, praying that some force would turn their fate around. </p>
<p>How do you stop this cycle? How can a person turn it all around and be successful in life? There is one possible answer to these questions: positive thinking. <strong><a href="http://wingsofsuccess.info/fantamy/69of/217">Positive thinking</a></strong> is the key to many entrepreneurs&#8217; success. With positive thinking, you can turn any failure into a success! </p>
<p>How, you ask? Well, with positive thinking, you are not limited by your worst enemy. Who might this enemy be? The answer to that is: you. You are your own worst enemy. You can do anything once you set your mind to it, and the only thing stopping you is your lack of positive thinking. </p>
<p>Many people doom their ventures to failure before they have even started implementing their plans. They are daunted by the risks of their activity and are stopped cold by their subconscious. When you think that something is doomed to fail, you will subconsciously look for any flaws in it. When you encounter one of these flaws, you will lose hope and abandon the project to failure. </p>
<p><strong><a href="http://wingsofsuccess.info/fantamy/69of/217">Positive thinking</a> </strong>can help you overcome this habit. By thinking positive, you turn your attention away from the threats and concentrate on any opportunities. Because of positive thinking, you will be able to achieve anything you can think of. </p>
<p>What is the key to positive thinking? Many people believe that the key to positive thinking is the act. They think that positive acting equals positive thinking. However, be reminded that positive thinking acts best on your subconscious. If you act like everything&#8217;s fine, but think that everything&#8217;s going to hell, you don&#8217;t have positive thinking. </p>
<p>One step you can take towards <strong><a href="http://wingsofsuccess.info/fantamy/69of/217/">positive thinking </a> is </strong>taking a realistic account of your life. Failures aren&#8217;t monsters that try to eat your life up. Failures do not cause more failures. Failures are distinct events that you can stop if you put your mind to it. By taking account of all the good in your life and not just the bad, you will be able to achieve positive thinking. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To achieve success we need to have a positive attitude. We can achieve this by using positive thinking and self-talk. People who succeed need to think positive and tell themselves that they can do it.</p>
<p>Being positive and telling yourself that you can do something like reaching that big dream you have for the future will change your attitude and make those dreams come true. Tell yourself that you can do it instead of thinking negative and let your self-think that the dream is too big you’ll never make it that far. This is called affirmatives, which bring nice rewards. </p>
<p>If we think about negative things, our mind will talk us right out of doing something especially if it seems scary. Don’ pay attention to those negative notions; jump in there by thinking positive, like “I can do this.”  </p>
<p>Our attitudes depend on how we are thinking.  If we think negative thoughts, we will be unhappy making our attitude stinks. When we are happy, thinking positive things, our attitude will be happy and we in turn can be happier around others as well as ourselves.  We have to be happy with our self in order to have a good attitude on life.<span id="more-45"></span></p>
<p>Find out why you are holding a grudge about something. Think about how you got this rotten attitude and what can you do to change how you feel. Make a list of all the things that made you angry and what made you angry with yourself. Now prioritize the list with the worst one on top and work your way down until the bottom is the most less that bothers you.</p>
<p>Now make some suggestions on how to eliminate this list in order for you to like yourself and those around you. Changing is not going to be easy and some people might make fun of you or get mad but do what you have to do in order to change your attitude from being negative to positive.</p>
<p>You can’t have a positive thinking and self talk if you’re not happy with yourself. Think positive and tell yourself you are going to make these changes in order to be the kind of person in your dreams.</p>
<p>If you haven’t already made of list of dreams and goals, you want than do that right now.  Make your list of dreams and goals that you really have to work for in order to achieve them. When you are writing you may be thinking negative things like “I’ll never be able to get this dream” but you can by changing your attitude on life and using your power of positive thinking and self-talk.</p>
<p>Feel like a new person with an attitude adjustment; remember that if your thinking negative than that is how you’re going to feel. Positive thinking and self-talk will make you think happy giving you better health as well.  </p>
<p>Think happy things by positive thinking will get you a long ways towards your goals for the future.</p>
<p>Relieving stress by thinking positive things will help you prevent health problems. Stress can and will cause you high blood pressure, heart diseases, strokes and high cholesterol.  Start relieving stress with positive thinking and self-talk. </p>
<p>Tell yourself that you’re going to be a happy person today. Everyday you’re going to learn to smile more, learn a new skill, and do something positive for yourself.  These and many others thinking positive will help relieve stress and help to putting your life on track with better health. </p>
