After all, there&#8217;s more to life than safety! What about passion? What about excitement? Wouldn&#8217;t you like more joy in your life? </p>
<p>To experience new heights of joy, the only requirement is a willingness to challenge yourself to break out of your self-imposed limitations.   </p>
<p>Getting outside of your comfort zone doesn&#8217;t always mean taking giant steps or doing something crazy. Expanding your comfort zone can mean small changes. For example, read a book you usually wouldn&#8217;t pick up, learn about something that challenges your viewpoint, or take a language course. Do things that are different than your ordinary daily routine.<span id="more-547"></span></p>
<p><strong>Small Ways to Get Out of Your Comfort Zone</strong></p>
<p>To begin experiencing the joy you deserve, stretch yourself!</p>
<p>Here are some ideas you can use to help yourself expand your comfort zone:</p>
<p>•	Take a walk around part of your neighborhood that you don&#8217;t normally visit.<br />
•	Go to a different store to shop for your groceries, clothes, or other items.<br />
•	Talk with a neighbor or introduce yourself to people who are new to the neighborhood.<br />
•	Sign up for a college class or an online course in something.<br />
•	Take an art, acting, or dance class. You&#8217;ll meet new people and learn a new skill. </p>
<p>You can increase your comfort zone in many ways. If you want to create more joy, think about things you like to do or want to learn about. Expanding your comfort zone is about doing things you like. It&#8217;s about showing yourself that you can do more than you thought you could.</p>
<p><strong>Moving on to Bigger Things</strong></p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve taken small steps outside your comfort zone, seek to stretch your boundaries further with greater challenges. If you&#8217;re shy, get to know your neighbors. To go further, throw a party or have a backyard barbecue. You&#8217;ll enjoy some time with others in your neighborhood while expanding your limits. </p>
<p>Take a drama class, then participate in a play or join an amateur competition to stretch yourself further. These challenges may seem daunting to you, but others in the class will be nervous also. And it&#8217;s okay to be a little nervous sometimes. It shows that you&#8217;re growing and developing as a person. It shows that you want to live life to the fullest.</p>
<p><strong>Avoid Trying Too Much Too Fast</strong></p>
<p>If you try to do too many things at once, you may become so nervous that you miss the joy that comes from stretching your inner boundaries. Instead, you may experience frustration and lack motivation to venture outside of your comfort zone again. Take small steps at first, and the success you experience will fuel your drive toward bigger challenges. </p>
<p>To be truly happy, you must be proactive in seeking the life you desire. If you challenge yourself with activities you enjoy, leaving your comfort zone can lead you to the life of passion and fulfillment that you deserve!</p>

<p>Sometimes you may need to make a big effort, but most of the time all you have to do is something subtle and simple to completely change how your day turns out. </p>
<p>Here are some easy ways to add happiness to your day:</p>
<p><strong>1.	Watch a movie. </strong>Curl up with a big bucket of popcorn and your favorite movie. Leave all your worries behind you as you engage in an activity that you&#8217;re sure to love.<span id="more-488"></span></p>
<p><strong>2.	Watch your kids or loved ones.</strong> Instead of focusing on yourself, take some time to place your attention on the people you love. Simply observe them and think about how much you appreciate the fact that they&#8217;re in your life.</p>
<p><strong>3.	Call your best friend.</strong> A phone call with a close friend is a great way to pass some time in a way that is comfortable and familiar to you. You can think about old times or enjoy planning something fun for the future.</p>
<p><strong>4.	Go out for ice cream.</strong> While it&#8217;s not a good idea to indulge all the time, it&#8217;s definitely okay once in a while. Grab your favorite treat whether it&#8217;s ice cream, a smoothie, or even Starbucks.</p>
<p><strong>5.	Enjoy nature.</strong> Take in nature by watching the world around you. You can do this by going on a nature hike or even just observing the beauty of the stars at night.</p>
<p><strong>6.	Take a hot bath.</strong> This is a great way to bring happiness to your day, especially if you&#8217;ve found the day stressful. Light some scented candles to include the benefits of aromatherapy to the relaxing warmth of the bath.</p>
<p><strong>7.	Play a sport. Gather your friends and have a friendly competition.</strong> Sports are a fun way to get some exercise and relieve stress. </p>
<p><strong>8.	Take a nap.</strong> An afternoon nap may be just what you&#8217;re looking for. Even 15 minutes of shut-eye can help you feel more energized and happy.</p>
<p><strong>9.	Snuggle with your partner.</strong> Take the time to appreciate your partner and snuggle up for some couple-time. It&#8217;s a great way to reconnect, especially if you&#8217;ve been really busy. </p>
<p><strong>10.	Be lazy.</strong> Sometimes you might not feel as happy as you&#8217;d like because you expect too much from yourself. Take some time to simply be lazy, with no responsibilities, and give yourself time to recoup.</p>
<p><strong>11.	Listen to your favorite song.</strong> Your favorite song is bound to brighten up your day. Bring out your iPod or music player and start cranking up the tunes.</p>
<p><strong>12.	Make casual conversation.</strong> Strike up some lively conversations with strangers. If you&#8217;re friendly and happy towards them, they&#8217;ll likely be the same to you.</p>
<p><strong>13.	Be thankful.</strong> Reflect on all the things that you&#8217;re grateful for in your life and write them down. You might be surprised at how long your list is! Sometimes changing your focus to what&#8217;s going right in your life is all you need to turn that frown upside down.</p>
<p><strong>14.	Enjoy time with your pets. Pets are part of the family too.</strong> Snuggle up with your pet for some quality time together. </p>
<p>Always remember that the list is endless when it comes to ways to brighten your day. Be creative and try new activities that you might like. Most importantly, seek a way to enjoy each moment, and your life will be filled with new happiness.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re having a tough time finding happiness in your marriage, you can improve how you and your partner feel. You know that you&#8217;re in love with each other, so it&#8217;s worth it to work towards a life that&#8217;s as happy as it can possibly be. </p>
<p>Keep the following tips in mind as you build your happy marriage:</p>
<p>1.	<strong>Step outside yourself. </strong>It&#8217;s a good idea to consider what it&#8217;s like to walk a mile in your partner&#8217;s shoes. If you run into a conflict or disagreement, instead of concentrating solely on how you&#8217;re feeling, consider your partner&#8217;s feelings first. </p>
<p>2.	<strong>Pick your battles. </strong>Sometimes fights are inevitable because you&#8217;re two different human beings with two sets of opinions. Determine whether your feelings are truly worth fighting for and where you can reach a compromise. Perhaps you&#8217;ve gotten into a petty little fight about something unimportant. Learn from that mistake to avoid that unhappiness in the future.<span id="more-355"></span></p>
<p>3.	<strong>Learn how to argue.</strong> Avoiding disagreements entirely usually carries unhealthy consequences. Both partners may simply repress certain angers, with neither one getting what they need out of the relationship. Learn to disagree without getting into an all-out argument.</p>
<p>•	When you disagree, avoid saying hurtful things.</p>
<p>•	If things are getting heated, take a break for a while and come back to the conversation when emotions aren&#8217;t running as high.</p>

<p>Here are some ideas for fun, indoor wintertime activities:</p>
<p>1.	<strong>Have a game night.</strong> Start a regular game night with your family or invite friends over. It&#8217;s up to you whether you&#8217;d like to do something family style to accommodate little kids or an evening for the adults with drinks and good conversation. Either way, you can stay warm and still have a great time!</p>
<p>2.	<strong>Catch up on crafts.</strong> Cold weather is the perfect time to bring out some crafts that you&#8217;ve been meaning to do. Sometimes bigger projects get abandoned and never looked at again. Here&#8217;s your chance to finally finish that quilt, scarf, or model airplane.<span id="more-300"></span></p>
<p>3.	<strong>Indoor swimming.</strong> See if there&#8217;s an indoor swimming pool in your area. It&#8217;s the perfect way to get a glimpse of a fun summertime activity during the colder months. </p>
<p>4.	<strong>Learn a new hobby or skill.</strong> Pursue an activity that you&#8217;ve been meaning to try for years. Have you always wanted to play a musical instrument? Perhaps there&#8217;s a computer program that you&#8217;d like to master? Take advantage of the winter to keep your brain active and learn something new.</p>

Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke. </p>
<p>One of the better things ever said is &#8211; &#8216;The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change&#8217;, and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change. </p>
<p>Social networks or relationships are essential to happiness. People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid clashes, constant arguments, and let go of all kinds of resentments. If arguments seem unavoidable still try and make an effort to understand the situation and you might just get along with well with. <span id="more-224"></span></p>
<p>Happiness is actually found in everyone, increasing it is a way to make a life more wonderful and also more healthy.</p>
<p>To be happy is relatively easy, just decide to be a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy. </p>
<p>There are several ways by which you can do this.</p>
<p>Being grateful is a great attitude.  We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the mailman for bringing you your mails, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.</p>
<p>News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can&#8217;t start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.</p>
<p>A religious connection is also recommended. Being part of a religious group with its singing, sacraments, chanting, prayers and meditations foster inner peace. </p>
<p><a href="http://813528xg3oe2cw0exvo85m8x39.hop.clickbank.net/">Manage your time</a>. Time is invaluable and too important to waste. Time management can be viewed  as a list of rules that involves scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating lists of things to do and prioritizing. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These basic skills can be fine tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire. </p>
<p>Laugh and laugh heartily everyday.  Heard a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say -&#8217;Laughter is the best medicine&#8217;.</p>
<p>Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to people around you. They will most likely reciprocate your actions. Try not to keep pent up anger of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.</p>
<p>Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives a feeling of being competent in finishing our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel worthy of your time.</p>
<p>Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday.  Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more opportunities in the future. </p>
<p>Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Feel alive.</p>
<p>Avoid exposure to negative elements like loud noises, toxins and hazardous places.</p>
<p>These are the few simple things you can do everyday to be <a href="http://dd1bcgx80ok1gwfy-4y4aegmze.hop.clickbank.net/">happy</a>. </p>
<p>And always remember the quote from Abraham Lincoln, he says that, &#8220;Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.&#8221;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Can you remember your childhood days? During those times, nothing yet seemed complicated – all we had to think about were crayons, cookies, or Santa Claus. We didn’t care about the things we didn’t know because we were just too oblivious of the things that might bother us.</p>
<p>But as we grow older, we get anxious with the things that surround us – life and death, loving and parting, success and failure, to name a few. We find that almost everyday, we are obliged to be concerned about people or events. </p>
<p>Nevertheless, always keep this in mind: Don’t take things as if they are responsible for the way you feel. Events or situations do not trouble you. How you look at them does. <span id="more-60"></span></p>
<p>If you miss those carefree days, you just have to look back at how you used to view things then, and you will know what to do now. Here’s a guide to make sure you won’t lose your way:</p>
<p>Cherish the simple things: Trust in the power of a smile or laughter, a kiss or a hug. Believe in kindness, honesty, dreams, and imagination. Living positively is the first step to becoming happy. </p>
<p>Loosen up. Laugh at your mistakes. You might remember the time when you were delivering your speech and your mind went completely blank right in the middle of delivering it. It’s embarrassing. But most likely, your audience will forget about it in a day or two. We all mess up occasionally. The good thing is that people tend to forget such situations.</p>
<p>Surround yourself with what you love. Get a pet. Retain film moments as keepsakes. Keep away from those that drag you down. If that high-paying job makes you sulk at the thought of having to go to work, find a job you like first before quitting. If some people force you to comply even if you think of doing otherwise, stay away from their company.</p>
<p>Don’t put off. Go on that trip. Take your Master’s. You’ll never know the extent of your life. Do something, while you can. </p>
<p>Don’t push yourself too hard trying to please everyone. You just can’t. And it never seems to be worth it anyway. When you want to make somebody’s day, start with your loved ones.</p>
<p>Keep fit. Be that attractive person you always picture yourself to be. Cherish your health. It’s the best way of showing you are putting your best face forward.</p>
<p>Do not assume. Don’t fret about forgetting your speech before you actually do it. Don’t worry about not getting the job you want because you might mess up at the interview. It’s good to expect the worst; but don’t end up expecting only the worst.  </p>
<p>Alter your way of thinking. When you’re being ridiculed, criticized about your family background, or condemned for past mistakes, put on deaf ears. Don’t believe everything you hear. You know yourself better than everybody else does. Never wallow in self-pity. </p>
<p>Remember: Don’t get upset over things just because it’s how most people would react when faced with the same situation. When you find yourself being negative – angry, down, jealous, etc. – you also unknowingly drain your energy and enthusiasm. You just have to try keeping these negative feelings in the low, because giving in to these emotions would sometimes make you unreasonable, and you might end up making bad decisions. </p>
<p>Happiness is always in your grasp. You can attain it, as long as you know how.</p>

<p>Happiness is an attitude. It is the glow that brings cheer to your face. Unfortunately, it is not store bought. Happiness actually begins from the inside and encompasses everything you do.<br />
Being happy has many fringe benefits, apart from the obvious. If you are happy, you have greater chances of attracting more happiness, achieving your goals and becoming more successful. </p>
<p>So, what makes people happy? That is a question worth considering. You see, different people feel happiness in different circumstances. Some people need small things to feel happy while others may feel like they need a million dollars in their savings account before they can begin to find a reason to smile. </p>
<p>Having said that, there are certain tried and tested secrets that can light the magic of happiness in your heart.</p>
<p>Cheer someone else: Nothing can bring you more happiness than extending a helping hand. When compassion enters the mind, selfish interests fly out. Treat others with respect and in a generous manner. When you give something to a person who needs it, your own sense of happiness increases ten fold. Don&#8217;t ask me why. Just try it. <span id="more-23"></span></p>
<p>Feel grateful: This is one of the best ways to be happy. Most of us are in the habit of looking up &#8211; we look at people who are richer than us, more attractive, more successful and so on. For a change, try looking down &#8211; at those who are less fortunate. This may seem sadistic, but when you look at those who are less fortunate, you suddenly realize how lucky you are. A good dose of healthy gratitude at the beginning of every day can leave you feeling happy throughout the day.</p>
<p>Live the moment: Most of us are so frustrated about the changes we did not make in the past and so anxious about what the future will bring that we forget about the present. Focus on what is happening to you right now &#8211; your dinner, this article or a conversation you are having. </p>
<p>Listen to music: We all live stress-filled lives packed with too many activities, all vying to take center stage. Is it any wonder that we are coiled tight like springs? A little bit of the right kind of music is all you need to de-stress and feel lighthearted once again. According to many scientific studies, music affects a part of the brain that can lower heart rates, induce feelings of peace and produce happiness. </p>
<p>Take some well needed rest: We are slowly becoming a planet of sleep deprived people. Lack of rest can make you itchy and cranky. Make it a point to get a good night&#8217;s rest. It can do wonders to your happiness quotient. </p>
<p>Live in good health: Say goodbye to fat-soaked, carbohydrate-rich food. Start eating healthy. Do some exercise. Meditate. Take care of your body and mind. When you take care of yourself, you will be suffused with a sense of well being and happiness.</p>
<p>These are just some of the ways in which you can invite happiness into your life. There may be many factors in your life that is beyond your control. Even so, there are still a lot of things that you can change. In the end, it is your attitude that matters. It is in your hands to decide whether you want to be happy or not. </p>
